I have lots of shirts and socks with horizontal stripes. I love stripes, no black and white, though. I think they look good on people who are not fat. Some of my stripy shirts are nearly 20 years old and they still look really good on me.

Good thing they're horizontal black and white stripes you're talking about.

When you get into vertical black and white stripes, things can go badly wrong:
