This is me. My most annoying trait. I just wish people knew I don't wish to offend but inform.

Dianthus, you may not fit every symptom of AS or have a slight variation of them but you don't need to have every symptom or every symptom the same as the person with AS next to you, to have it. The criteria is just very broad to include the whole spectrum. It's really hard to include everyone into it at the same time.

I'm not highly educated either and I need a bit of praise for encouragement, though I still motivate myself with the encouragement of others.

Hmm... I think I may have Asperger's.

What's this "preoccupied with their own agenda" about? Isn't everyone?

I went over this list with my mother (this is for autism/PDD, not Asperger's specifically) and we agreed none of these really fit me, although some of it sounded like her as a child:

The second and third lists are generalized versions of the detailed list on the help4aspergers page. Maybe the detailed list makes more sense to you as specific things that you do.

The first list is for whole spectrum, so some of the autistic traits may not apply to a child who is mildly affected but still diagnosable with Asperger's or PDD-NOS according to the DSM-IV.
