40.

One pair of questions caught my attention in particular:

"I find it easy to work out the intentions of characters in fiction"
and
"I find it easy to work out the intentions of people I meet"

(or something to that effect).

I gave opposite answers for them... easy to discern intentions in fiction, damn near impossible to figure out in real life. I wonder whether the scoring just adds up points per answer, or whether it actually has strategic pairs of questions and takes into account whether your answers for the pair are the same or different *in addition* to what the actual answer was.

The quizz only adds your answers

The person who diagnosed me said things about the cutoff at 33 not being used, but one lower down around 24-26 (I don't remember the particular number). If you were below that point you're almost certainly not autistic (you might be but the probability is very low), while above that point you need more information.

I get a 36 or 37 (one point of variation dependent on mood)

I read somewhere that 33 is the cutoff used in studies in general population, but 25 for people who already suspected of having AS/ASD.

Which would make sense - the person I was diagnosed by specializes in diagnosing people with ASDs and ADHD, so he'd be using the lower cutoff number.

I remember that I took this one once and purposely skewed my results to get a higher score. This quiz seems to be based on Aspie stereotypes more than actual aspies.

I scored 38 but I am not diagnosed as having Aspergers. I was diagnosed as having social anxiety but then I have never been tested officially for Aspergers so who knows.

I always score as having Aspergers on every test I have ever done online. Shrugs.

It's an online test, not a f**king psychologist. You can't expect it to be 100% accurate, can you?

You scored a total of 43 ...

Hmm interesting.

(( You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional soon to rule out a possible anxiety disorder. ))

Just a quick question actually as that was part of which it said after that test.

Anxiety pains.. Could they be anything and anywhere? As for the past 3 years ive been getting severe sharp stabbing pains in my chest, left hand side usually but it isn't my heart as a paramedic did a check with some kind of machine.

I get left side chest pains too. The times I've been to the emergency room for it they tell me it's not cardiac related and call it "chest wall pain".

I have a lot of anxiety but I think sometimes I also get chest pain from being on the computer too much.

agree 100%
They didn't use a multiple-choice quiz when I was diagnosed. I think it's a pre-screening test aimed at getting undiagnosed people to consider visiting a psychiatrist/psychologist.
