Yup. One of my teachers is totally awesome. So awesome, that I could have graduated already, but I decided not to so I can take more of her classes. :P

I have a very close friend who is completely obsessed with her 30yearold female teacher. Not only doe's she find this teacher extremely interesting, but she feels some sort of emotional and sexual connection. The teacher is married with a child and clearly feels nothing in return.
Its gotten to the point where my friend brings them up in almost every conversation, if not, all. She clearly gets excited talking about them, as she begins talking much faster and at a higher volume.

I don't think my friend has asperger's because she seems very good in social situations, ones that i would die in. However, her strange obsession with the teacher does puzzle me. Also, I've made a significant emotional connection with her, one that is rare for me.
She walks with a subtly unusual gait, and portrays a few other aspie traits even though the major, diagnosable traits don't seem to be present in her personality.

She does have blue eyes, something I've noticed in a ton of aspies, even though mine are brown.

Ive never had an obsession with another person. Random, but i loved cats for about a year in grade school. I was more into facts about the species than any specific cat, i don't really like spending time with them actually. Not that it matters or is in any way connected to the thread. Just thought i would share.

I apologize for any mistakes i may have made, its late and I'm functioning off of about 4 hours of sleep.

I think it might be phase ... Maybe what your friend has been through makes her long for a mother figure of some sort. I dont what kind of life your friend has had so its difficult to tell ... Are you aware of anything like this?

And the thing about the cats, I can get obsessed with things like that too. I'm really into Philosophy of Religion at the moment though :D
