Has any one ever forgotten what there car has looked like? Well I have done this a lot. So I know how you feel there. To me at times the cars start to look the same.

Off topic but does anyone remember in 101 Dalmatians when Roger grabbed the wrong dog thinking it was his and it caused him to get hit in the head with bricks?

I mean he couldn't tell by the collar and he had to lift her leg up to see it was a she. I wonder if people do actually grab the wrong pets? I remember the time I got my very own Calico cat and one of my neighbors kept mistaking it for her so she tell me to put Patches down. I am sure these things can happen except Roger would have been killed in real life or just badly hurt and maybe left with permanent brain damage and Anita may have gone to prison.

A couple months ago, I borrowed my mom's silver Toyota Camry and stopped at the gas station to get some cigars. My car is very distinct, this one is not. On the way in, I noticed an identical car parked a few spaces away with a lady sitting in it. Didn't give it any thought.

A few minutes later, I had purchased my cigars and was just pulling out of the lot, when a lady came running and screaming out of the gas station. She was swearing like a sailor. I rolled down my window, thinking there was a chance she might be warning me of something important. Then, she paused, and said "My bad!" and walked to the other car.

I don't know if she thought her friend had left without her, or that her car was being stolen. Hilarious either way.

I'm also one of those people that remembers a plate better than the actual car. Especially when so many cars are similar.

This thread is hilarious. I think it's been one of my favorites.

I once went to the supermarket in my husbandscar. coming back to the parking lot I was trying the remote button on the keyring and figured the battery muxt be flat because the lights werent coming on. I put the key in the lock and realised this is the wrong car. Hubby's car was behind it, in the next row. Walked to car with red face and as I got in saw an older couple with a worried/bemused expression approaching the car I had just attempted to "break into".
