But isn't that making life easier for judgmental people? Why should that type of profiling be tolerated?

Yes, it does make it easier for judgemental people (I am assuming you are meaning "judgemental" in the negative sense and not all the people who merely gather neutral information from how a person is dressed.) The thing is, judgements are peoples' thoughts. You can't tolerate or not tolerate somebody else's thoughts. They will think what they will think.

I don't know. If I hear anyone using lots of "trendy" words, it's an obvious sign they're not mature yet. Mature people use their own words, sound polite and relaxed at off times and professional and serious during work time. Maybe I'm just spoiled by my circle. Nearly everybody I know is upper middle class with at least a 4 year degree.

Since you're 19 already, why not skip the adolescent trendy stage and jump directly to adulthood? :) You won't miss any of the "fun".

Ok let me bring you into reality here on "gay" or any other type of sexuality than straight. Even if straight guys like saying I am straight allot, even if they tried guys. But they say they straight allot. NO one dares say bisexual that much.

Is Minnesota one of those towns with the, run hundred miles in the other direction?

Unless you can defend yourself. Depending how the people around your town respond to the word gay, you should not let people around you hear anything to do with gay.

Unless you want to be alienated, or beat up or windows smashed in or in this country a petrol bomb go through the window. In some areas theses people who have a strong feeling against gays. Another reason is your friend will not want to be social alienated, or bullied.

I don't think you really understand how some groups can turn on people, that’s why even if someone in the group does not agree they will keep they mouths shut. Out of fear the group will turn on them.

Now the view is changing on the subjects, but still you do need to be careful.
