RIP Jetson.

But what exactly did he die of? Did he have some fatal medical condition?

I didn't know him well, but I've seen his Avatar. Nevertheless, he was in the trenches with the rest of us, and sought refuge in WP. May he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear this, he was willing to help me when I was new to the site. Seemed like a good guy- my condolences to everyone who knows him.

I'm sorry to see that he's gone. We talked a few times on the IRC channel about the winter weather in New England and the Canadian Maritimes. -- I remember that he was orginally from New Brunswick, or Nova Scotia.

Corrected typo

That is what it seems like. He was a strong person and didn't deserve to die. But I do know that he didn't want to live for years with just a "treatment" for an incurable condition. He wouldn't have wanted to suffer for the rest of his life.

When I joined over a year ago, and made my intro post, he was the first (the only?) one to show up and say hi and welcome me here; I'm very sad to hear this.
