Dude! I didn't know it was possible to come off as that much of a jackass in an email, autie or not. Has me thinking THIS guy is a misDxed Narcissist. Wow, just wow

I'm 52, and am in a similar situation -- in the wake of my best friend's daughter's diagnosis, I've realized that I too am on the spectrum.

I told my brother and my aunt -- my two closest blood relatives. Their reactions were both about what I expected -- they are clearly interested in whatever they can do to help, same as always.

I've always done my best -- I make no apologies.

First 2W4E, thank you, I did not know it was possible to be that much of a jackass either. Must be a 'burgh thing?

My sister is involved in my diagnosis and is trying to help but she can be overbearing. Mostly it is to try to get me health insurance and programs to help with employment and such. Also, we have another problem in the family she is dealing with as my brother is an alcoholic who refuses help. At least I think I have her on "my side". I am finding the world can be harsh.
