Yes ! I do !

You should hear me go on a phone call :?

It's like some one opened the floodgates :?

I have like a million things I want to say and I end up saying them all mashed in together. Gotta say I do feel for the people who speak to me, I must give them a right headache.

Do you guys have trouble saying exactly what you need to say? kinda like, saying a bit of everything else and then feeling that you didn't get to say what it was you wanted to ?

Awfully frustrating for me to try and communicate with people. I end up rambling on and saying a load of nonsense, then being mad at myself afterwards because I didn't say what I wanted to :x

I'm wondering to hear similiar stories from people if they have problems with 'too many things' which is when you have lots of different things such as keeping clean, doing maths homework, doing chore, eating, doing hobby, doing geography homework. And those many things all mix around your head till you get so confused and I thinks it is a really big task and won't start doing the things and can't see the solution because it is all muddled and as big as a mountain?

I am wondering if anybody elses experiences?

And how they help to stop those many things and worrying about those many things when you are confused?

Yup. I know this. I just try and keep lists when it gets real bad... if i can remember to write a list... and then remember to use it... and remember where I last put it.... erm...

Yes. I'm going to have to steal this because it is a perfect description of my brain. It seems like my head is constantly buzzing with thoughts faster than I am able to keep up.

Yes, sometimes I can have too many things on my mind and it can cause me to have trouble with the most simple and obvious task. Then sometimes I think about a mistake I made and keep thinking about what caused me to make that mistake and what I could have done differently and then I get distracted even more. It can also take me a while to make a decision on something because sometimes I think about all the details for why one choice would be better than the other.

Sometimes I become extremely focused on completing certain tasks though like at work or something.

Very much so. The multitasking society of today is not good for many on the spectrum.

This very much resonates with me.

A.L.L. T.H.E. T.I.M.E.

And thus I'm a master of procrastination (see, what's going on now? sitting on WP because I got confused about what I was supposed to be doing … )
:pale:

That helped a bit, some time ago: http://waitbutwhy.com/2013/11/how-to-be ... ation.html

But maybe not enough, need to log out here!

Me too. I've got lots of things I want / need to get done, and they're not properly organised in my brain.

I either have too many things on my mind or...nothing. More often it's a blank feeling.

I get overwhelmed easily. I lose things constantly. Get into a meltdown when I can't find them. In this information age, it is a struggle to keep up with everything. You can't get someone on the phone immediately, whether it is help for a technical issue - everything is DIY. Home appliances sold in stores often have to be assembled, which is a nightmare for someone with no transportation. And on top of it, I'm a worrywart and can't even begin to sort through the muck of mundane details until the bigger problem is resolved.

I'm also undergoing mental health treatment and find the same difficulty. Advice, as good as it is, doesn't stick because it is hard to remember. I can only keep about one thing in my head at a time....
