I'm probably going to go with a female Golden Retriever, but I might go with a German Shepherd

now I just have to save up for the ridiculous prices for a quality pup of one of these breeds

and not many rescues have young puppy's, they mostly have mature dogs(usually between 2-4*when they're the most crazy*, and seniors)

My bearded dragon is also "trained", if you want to call it that. I always thought it was more of a "conditioned" thing but isn't that what "traning" is? She will only deficate in her bathtub. So yes, lizards, or bearded dragons at least can be "toilet trained". When she was a baby she would go in her cage. Now that she is older she will hold it and hold it until I put her in her bathtub filled with warm water. She will let me know when she needs to go by stratching on the cage but will not deficate outside of the water.
