Loud grinding noises, severe thunderstorms where lightning is striking real close by and over-studying math.

Wet/soggy popscicle stick scraping against my lower front teeth.

Unexpected loud noises, too.

Loud sudden barking, loud or irritating noises (e.g. radio) when I'm trying to sleep, rest, do my work, shop, or whatever I want to do in (near) quiet environment. Some strong scents and perfumes are quite unpleasant (cigarette smoke, too). Some mouth noises, finger tapping, stereotypes, and messing with some objects can bring my blood to boil.

Ditto , except I now have a 2 y old girl who makes windows vibrate.........

Those high pitched kiddy screams are like a nail in my brain. I also freak involuntarily if anyone touches my ribs.

My mom used to clean and file her fingernails and it was the worst sound I could ever imagine hearing.

Also, certain high pitched car brakes are terrible. I heard a car stop a few feet away from me yesterday and it nearly made me dizzy.

Rubber - things like deflated balloons or rubber gloves, the slight grip to your skin.

OR

My boyfriends drumming - he drums on EVERYTHING, he can't help it (like a type of stimming I guess - he's not AS/ASD, we suspect he's ADHD) and I've gotten used to it, but what gets me is when he drums on the bench we're sitting on, drums on the table I'm leaning against or taps his foot while on the bus or metro. It's the feeling of the vibrations travelling from whatever he's drumming on through to me, it's an utterly horrible feeling.

Loud and sudden noises, including cars suddenly braking, children screaming, the dog barking, etc.

Going from dark to light.

The smell of cat pee. Really any animal pee or poop in the house will do that to me, but cat pee has to be the worst. I can't stand it.

Polystyrene...it's HORRIBLE. The feel and sound of it has always gone right through me. I always thought it had the same affect on everyone, but I've been discovering it doesn't. =/

Ugh, even reading the word 'polystyrene' makes my skin crawl.

Mine are loud and constant noises particularly Formula 1 racing and roadworks but even the hoover and hairdryer can set me on edge.

Very bright sunlight and bright, flickering electric lights are also pretty horrible for me as well. I also don't like bright colours especially when it comes to walls and carpets. When I was about 10 my parents said I could choose the colour that my bedroom would be painted, I pointed to 'magnolia' on the colour charts they showed me - not the usual colour choice for a little girl.

Car horns. I almost fall off my bicycle when a car horn goes off right next to me 8O

My toaster and the microwave bell. Sometimes I'm lost in thought when I stand in the kitchen, and the sudden noise totally takes me by surprise. Even though I turned the darn thing on myself only minutes ago :x

The laughter of strangers. It always makes me feel as if they were laughing about me.
