I'm the opposite. I very seldom get excited about anything.

A friend of mine recognized the same "spazzing" trait in me that he also has, and from that alone he figured he found a kindred spirit.

I barely do owt. I might probably describe it in words though. If my team scores however I can go so mad that I'm unaware of what I'm doing and may find I've ran 50 yards or jumped on top of the hoardings while waving a scarf.

I used to get super excited when I was little. It was usually things like going to theme parks, museums, science center, the beach, etc. It's harder to excite me now. I still get excited but not nearly as much as I used to get. Take me on a trip to a different country and I'll get super excited. Possibly getting a new cutting edge technology gadget, a new book or a pet.

Seeing as you're from Ontario, I take it you mean the Toronto Science Centre. I couldn't blame you for getting excited to go there. That place is awesome. :)

A new pet is also a very valid reason to get excited! Luckily, when my mom found a puppy she really wanted a few years ago, the dog was just as giddy as I was.

When one of my favorite authors publishes a new book...

My friends think it's rather cute that I start jumping up and down, squealing in excited joy at the thought of reading the new book.

When I do, I don't show it. But I feel it! The trouble is, that most anything that might put me in that frame of mind, would be very bizarre to any NT. If I spot an old air raid siren ontop of a building, that will excite me bigtime. But to show it, would cause laughter, and cause strangers to perhaps even be afraid of me in case I'm a real nut case.

Yeah, that would be the Toronto Science Center. I have some good memories from that place. :)

I try not to be, as I don't like the feeling of being "up". The same with showing it. (I do feel it inside though.)

I let stuff slip past the "front" now and again though, especially when around someone who's close to me (like my mother).

I do the jumping up and down and flapping thing, and sometimes I add a weird little jig-type dance to the jumping, like skipping in place. This is usually about something sort of small-- my boyfriend cooks dessert, or we're going to go blueberry picking, or I just found the perfect book about my special interest. This can be awkward in the bookstore, so I try to just flap for a bit to get it out of my system. I'm usually in an aisle nobody else goes to, like the biology section, so it kind of works out. I'm very non-expressive about big things, like getting a new job, but I feel excited, for some reason I just don't show it.

Yes, I do.
My partner ordered me three books which will arrive in a couple days, I guess on friday.
So I start hitting him from upper excitement (not hard) and I hit my own body from excitement and when I think about it again I flap my hands or I jump around the room.
He says that I am a little crazy one.
And I cannot talk from excitement, when I think about it but only make some high-pitched noises and smile.
Flapping again right now, because I am so excited about the books.

In high school, I would sometimes stim or tic in front of my GF but I would just tell her I was fine. I would get so sick of lying to her.

I still think that I did that because I was excited.

Not frequently, but sometimes I do that right after I decide I've nailed a particularly difficult weather forecast or right after I've just run a really good race. On the flip side, if I do either of these things really badly, I get pretty depressed for a few minutes.

Nah, I rarely get excited. And if I do, none would probably be able to tell...

Whenever I watch game shows where people get super-excited I usually sit there thinking "I would never be able to show enthusiasm like that"

What does make me excited is when I do something programming wise. I get very happy and want to do more and more. It usually get those moments when everything compiles and works as I intended. Not sure you could call it super excited. But it's the closest I can get. =P
