This happens to me too. I notice when I'm really enjoying a special interest I get a feeling of excitement, like a happiness, almost like caffeine. This doesn't help with sleep when you're so happy and excited!

Yes, you don't want to know how many times I've just sat pressing reload waiting for something to appear on the internet all night. When an App I was interested in for work was due, I spent almost 3 days hitting the refresh screen on my iPad.

I'm a little bit more in control now, but I have found myself addicted to a new game and putting in far too many hours. I do tend to have a pretty good bed-time routine now, up at 6-7am, work at 9, back at 6, family stuff and an hour space out before 9pm, interests till 0:00, then a bath till 1 (reading of course), then up to an hour or so of reading or interests, then bed. Getting to bed before 2:00 is an accomplishment and the closest I've had to a routine in all my life.

Jason.
