I have no clue. I try not to worry about how others see me, but I can't stop it. Society baffles me.

I am certain that most of the world doesn't see me.

Other people seem to view me as a cute "little sister figure" based on the way that they treat me. I think my naivete and childlike appearance and personality endears me to them and triggers their protective instincts. Also, perhaps paradoxically, younger girls frequently look up to me (which I wish they wouldn't do, because I think I am the furthest thing from a good role model).

I think the world probably see's me as odd. I walk odd, with my hands in front and shoulders inwards, sort of like a rabbit. I think it's a security thing.
I talk odd, really quiet but then very loud when I'm excited.
But most of all, I think oddly, which I guess is the reason for the rest of my odd behaviour.

Has anyone "seen" themselves in their own dreams, disconnected from their body but you can see how you act? I experienced this last night, I felt strange watching myself and thought I looked rather odd with the way I acted.

People often talk to me as though I'm a child, or their pet or something. Maybe they see me as that as well.

I sometimes wish I knew. But at the same time, it's probably a good thing that I don't perceive how people perceive me. I pride myself in being independent and mostly not caring what people think. I've always walked to the beat of my own drum. I think I'd lose a lot of that if I were constantly aware of how people see me.

That being said, I've been told that I often look sad/tired. I think it's my darkness under my eyes combined with the fact that I only smile when I'm happy.

Intelligent, very random, eccentric- their "nice" word for me being a weirdo, talented, snobby, cold, arrogant, anti-social, and aloof. This is what I've perceived and heard from people I've met.

People who know me think of my musical talents and/or special intense interest in roller coasters. I come off as respectful and polite, although not one to be involved in the social scene. People seem to know I like my privacy. They also think of me as intelligent and eccentric.

But basically, people think I'm weird. And smart. And talented. But mostly weird. I don't know, I can say what individual people think, but as far as on a whole, no idea.
That's me!! I am definitely perceived as weird and eccentric. If more people were educated about AS they would realize that there is a good reason why I act the way I do but I am fine now with never quite being understood by other people.

This sounds familiar. But, mostly, people try to see what they are looking for. If looking for a mate, people evaluate mate qualities. If looking for someone to perform work, they see work performer. And so on. I live on a hippie commune where most people see me as a vending machine.

Ill just say it the exact way my boss did a "bit eccentric, hard worker, smart but some time too smart" I over heard him talking about me to the service manager. Code for different over thinking but a hard worker so we will let the weirdo stay.

These are some things that people have said about me that surprised me.

"Are you high?"
"Are you English?"
"Are you gay?"
"I thought you were a genius"
"I thought you were going to burst into tears"
"You can be so childish sometimes"
"You are quite mature"
"You're a funny guy"
"That wasn't funny at all"

It's a good thing I'm such a self-centred guy, or it might bother me that I have no idea what the rest of the world wants from me.

Well not sure if these things are how the whole world sees me or if they are accurate but a few ways others have described me either through their words or actions are:
weird, mental, crazy, ret*d, slow, psychopath, freak, good bullying target, unemployable, outcast, boring

and now for some good ones
laid back, intelligent, 'you have good taste in music.'
