Yes i'm 36 years old, and I know that AS didn't exist then in the 80'es. But my 5 years younger brother's got "real" severe autism, and he was just diagnosed with brain damage due to hypoxia during birth, even though ASD is pretty common in my family. I don't worry that much, but I can't help thinking about how much different my life would have been, if I got some help then....
