Yes, I find it much much easier too when in a structured context. Like in class, the subject is already chosen, and the teacher controls the whole thing. Unfortunately, it's mostly not like that "out there" in the chaotic world of the NT's

Yeah, it's not like that outside a classroom setting. I just graduated from university, too, so I'm done with having any classes for a while at least.

There are some good games tabletop games such as Warhammer and the like that rely a lot less on imagination. I had some good experiences with a gaming group for a few years.

If your listed age is correct the AS diagnosis would not have existed when you were in school, so don't worry about it, you were not overlooked.

Yes i'm 36 years old, and I know that AS didn't exist then in the 80'es. But my 5 years younger brother's got "real" severe autism, and he was just diagnosed with brain damage due to hypoxia during birth, even though ASD is pretty common in my family. I don't worry that much, but I can't help thinking about how much different my life would have been, if I got some help then....
