It's frustrating living with my family because even before diagnosis, they treated me like I couldn't do a lot of things I can do, even when I offer to do them or help with them. On the other hand, I am expected to know how to do things that are difficult for me.

My mother says that she taught me all of the skills I need to be an adult and that I must have somehow "forgotten" them. At least, she said that before I got my diagnosis. She hasn't brought it up again after.
