Alex is a great man, and Wrongplanet is one more thing that we should be thankful for!

I'm having a pretty good Thanksgiving. First relaxing non-stress Holiday for me in maybe 8 years. Whew! Sigh of relief. I'm not around anyone today that makes me squirm...

At my place now, with my boyfriend and mother. We made turkey, mashed potatoes w/gravy, turnips, steamed veggies, cranberries, and mmmmmm sweet potatoes (yum - with maple syrup, brown sugar, and marshmellows). I make some great sweet potatoes.

Listening to some nice Italian music.

Calling family now...this part isn't that enjoyable. My family calls each other on the Holidays and it is a thoughtful idea. But I get kinda nervous about what to talk about. So, I'm just waiting for the phone now to call the next person.

Happy Thanksgiving for all those who celebrate the holiday here on WrongPlanet!! :P

Very good!

I had a rather low-key celebration, but it was still good.

Just think, if it weren't for the Pilgrims, there would be no holiday in November.

the exclamation points are apparently contagious! oh, no! i must leave this thread? question mark? what the! stop it? nooo? humpf! hey, it worked?

well, for now i'm going to raid the fridge to see what food remains standing after thanksgiving! bye!

getting over the outrageous amount of exclamation points on here, my thanksgiving was basically me sitting in my room watching episodes of scrubs waiting for everyone to go home. my family's so incredibly loud and quite nosy at times.

Yes. I hope this site is not in jeopardy, and Alex continues to run it.

If you want to use exclamation points, feel free. If you're not sure what to say, that's ok. A lot of us have that problem.

It's ok if you look in the fridge to see what food is there. I hope you have a happy rest of your Thanksgiving too!
