I spend most of the time being nervous and second guessing myself then afterwards dwell on any stupid mistakes I made or dumb things I might have said.

Actually, no. It lifts my spirits and I have trouble sleeping at night if I've just come home from a social event. Being on my own too much makes me become depressed because I go into myself too much.

I think I might be, too, sometimes. I do need to get out around people from time to time, I can enjoy the interplay of ideas I find. I do end up tired, over-stimulated by the end of the day, but getting out feeds something in me. New sights, new information, new ideas. Yeah. :D
