I think a lot of people drop jingles into conversation, when you see something repeatedly its likely to get spat out.

Not really. No.

Commercials are designed to stay in people's minds anyways.

Well, that was an old commercial that came out in the sixties, and it had two Indians riding in a canoe, peering about as if in search of "the yellow". It was a dumb commercial, but the tune was catchy. :)

Slinkies are like idiots. They're not really good for much, but there's something ineffably satisfying about throwing one down a flight of steps.

For reasons I have never understood, we got Chicago station WGN on TV when I was living in Alabama. I used to tape movies that they'd run and it took me forever to get the jingle for "Empire" out of my head (I never paid attention to the commerical, so the most I can say is that it had something to do with carpet). It's really sad because all the jingle consisted of was the phone number and "Empiiiiiiiiiire."

It's trying to run through my head now, but I have finally alllowed at least some of that number to pass through my memory. It's trying really hard though.

That's why the advert agencies get paid millions ! !! They intend to brainwash you. Personally I detest most commercials, as they're sooo annoying. Also the visuals are now so brief it's like some bizarre snapshot sequence that's so quick I can't tell what they're bloody selling ! !!

I love that ATV commercial, it's so silly. :P
I watched it 7-10 times across 3 days before I forgot about it, but I still like it.

Not that it makes me want to buy the game. Pretty much failed miserably at that.

I'll never understand advertising <_<
