Sometimes when I'm really absorbed with something I'll forget and end up eating a very, very late supper (or breakfast, etc, if it's the weekend), and I have pulled a few all nighters/late nights because of the same. Otherwise meal times are one of the highlights of my day, and I keep snacks beside my desk for when I get hungry/bored. And my late nights are few and far between because I feel physically sick when I lose too much sleep.

When I was still employed, every once in a while I would work through my lunch. The last time that happened at the place I retired from, I went ballastic and told my boss about it. He told me to go ahead and eat.

Love my food especially bacon but when I've got nothing else to do and focus on a subject, I'll phase back in to realise that I'm hungry/thirsty, then that its getting light and usually the next realisisation is that its 2-3 days later. My house mate used to say I turned into a data zombie.

Just noticed another aspect of this that I forgot to mention before.

I just made some food and sat down with it and started playing video games, I took a few bites right before I started the game. I was so focused on the game I totally forgot about my food, When I finally remembered I had food in front of me, it was cold. lol
