One random Latin quote: homo sum; nihil humanum ami alienum puto.
I am a man. I consider everything foreign to me inhuman. Tells what the far more right wing think.

I've splattered this one all over the forums but here goes:

Douglas Adams wrote:
The major problem—one of the major problems, for there are several—one of the many major problems with governing people is that of whom you get to do it; or rather of who manages to get people to let them do it to them.
To summarize: it is a well-known fact that those people who must want to rule people are, ipso fact, those least suited to do it. To summarize the summary: anyone who is capable of getting themselves made President should on no account be allowed to do the job. To summarize the summary of the summary: people are a problem.

NO IT WAS NOT! MY GREAT GRANDFATHER FOUGHT IN THE BOER WAR AND I HAVE RESEARCHED IT! THE BOERS WERE BRILLIANT MARKSMEN AND THEY WOULD NOT MISS! THEY WERE ALSO GUERILLA FIGHTERS! THAT WAS AQUOTE FROM THE AMERICAN CIVIL WAR BY A CONFEDERATE GENERAL AT GETTYSBURG METHINKS! NOT THE FIRST OR SECOND ANGLO-BOER WAR! NEVER MAKE MISTAKES ABOUT THAT WAR! I WAS BORN IN SOUTH AFRICA!
