I guessed you weren't unionist when I saw your username. I think the Scots would find independence unsustainable. The SNP don't seem to have a proper gameplan. Independence... and then what? If Scotland and Wales want to be independent, then I want an independent Lancashire according to the 1974 borders but including the Bolton and Southport areas but omitting other, Liverpool parts of West Lancashire. Do you think us Lancastrians will get it? No, because it's bonkers. People from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland may be different but there is more that unites than divides us.
