Yes. Could never wear wool when I younger, couldn't stand the feel of it. There was something else that bugged me when I was younger that apparently I haven't touched in a long time, because I can't remember what it was but I remember not liking it.

Aha good to hear (but unfortunate, of course) so many other people hate(d) jeans! I couldn't stand wearing jeans most of my childhood. It got the point where my Dad would essentially force me to wear outfits until I somewhat approached normalcy. How socks fit are still an issue. Other people's mention of very clean dishes: absolutely agree...and even though I know tons of people who don't suspect Asperger's or show symptoms agree with this, how about those microfiber (shamwow/glasses rag) towels? AH! skfjaskfjfkj.

I really like the feel of micro-fibre cloth thingies :) Nice and fluffy :)

Smells. There are some people whose scent I just can't get enough of; their natural odour, not perfume or deodorant. And then there are some smells that give me an instant migrane, or teary eyes, sometimes dry eyes. Some smells make me absolutely sick, or bring back powerful memories. Flowers smell like decay to me. Lilacs are particularly odious; they make the whole neighborhood smell like pee in the spring. And some smells make me violently angry, which I find completely unsettling.

I cannot cope with denim jeans either.

Also scratching my nails against paper. The mere thought of it makes me shudder and feel sick.

I could NOT pick up dog poo after the dog does it. I would vomit and then insist on washing my hands multiple times, even if I didn't make direct contact with the poo. I don't know how people can do it all. I don't know how parents of babies can change their babies. I saw one being changed once and it traumatised me for weeks.

Also the thought of chewing tissues makes me sick.

I am very hypersensitive of smells. My housemates think that a great way to mask smells in the toilet or when a room smells sweaty is to spray air freshener everywhere. I end being bedroom-bound with the door shut until the stink of the air freshener dissipates. I also don't understand why they cover up one stink with another. To be honest I can cope with the toilet/sweat smell more than the smell of the air freshener.

Polyester fabric. Oddly enough, not polyester yarn--in fact, I crochet with it constantly. I think it's just the sensation of being wrapped in the stuff that's too much to take.

I recently got a soft blanket and was surprised that the tag says it's made of polyester. It's basically covered with "fur" and doesn't have that plastic-y feeling that polyester shirts do at all. I guess small polyester fibers == ok, and large ones == yuuckkk.

Some people mentioned denim: I recently found out about an industrial-strength fabric softener (I'm getting into dyeing, which tends to make fabrics stiff and rough) called "Milsoft." I haven't had a chance to try it, yet, though. And, I'm not connected to the Milsoft (or whatever it's name is) company. I can see 'doing' denim if the stuff lives up to the hype I've seen.

My 'kryptonite' fabric is wool. Even with a t-shirt and a regular shirt I can feel a wool jacket's fibers poking through.

I'm not sure if I've ever tried that, but I know that with sweaters I end up with wool fibers in my nose and in my eyes which drives me nuts.

I will wear jeans only if they're loose enough so I don't have to feel the texture..

Wet paper of any kind. It makes my skin crawl and grosses me out (I literally start gagging).
Having wet hands and touching clothes or animals and touching anything that feels chalky also has the same effect.

Some textures I enjoy can cause overload as well (if touched more than normal). Rusted metal and concrete (not the smooth concrete surfaces like some people have on their basement floor or garage) can especially get me into trouble at times.

I can totally relate. I am diagnosed with Sensory processing, although it's technically not a recognized disorder. I have problems with jeans as well. Also turtle necks, wool, polyester, tags, and right now my biggest struggle seems to be shoes. I have a hard time finding shoes that feel good on my feet. they are either too tight, or too stiff. I bought a pair of crocs last year, and I basically live in them. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but they are all I can wear at the moment.

unparallel rock patterns make me sick...

like wierd cracks that are all over the place on rock walls or lots of holes in rock...

just get a little sick when i see certain textures mostly on rocks but also on other surfaces...

also the insides of some fruits/vegatables where the seeds are showing is really gross...

The absolute worst feeling for me is rubbing a piece of paper against a wet fabric. For example, if you spill some water on your pants and try to wipe it off with a paper towel. The feeling of it makes me want to die. Nothing compares.
