I haven't met any Buddhist monks, only Catholic ones, but I think that a lot of them do have ASDs. When I have visited monasteries, it's a very comforting lifestyle for someone with AS. Peace and quiet, studying and teaching, and and it's highly routinized.

It suited me when I was a monk many years ago - except for getting up at 5 am every morning for meditation! Looking back I think some of the others may also have had Asperger's too.
