Most often "stud + stud = stud" is true. Anomolies aren't significant. Maybe Bob's 12th kid will randomly become a gent. But that's 1 kid out of however many he had...

Chav, that logical reasoning doesnt take into account so many variables. It basically works with 'stud + stud = stud' but parents can have aspie children and the amount of aspie children is on the rise - if it were the other way around, then aspie children would be on the decline.

<<Speculating>>
Equal opportunities at work overt the generation has made it possible for female scientist, engineers, and programmers to meet at work. Also because of big cities they probably have a better chance of finding another aspie the when everyone lived in small towns.

<<more logical>>
Countries with aspies in them often have a better ability to conquer over countries, so keeping alive the aspie gene. If in WWI Germany won the war and the German Arian Race spread across the world, for sure there would be more aspies and German Scientists/ engineers; the same thing could be said also for Japan.

But now, in relative peaceful times, countries survival is not based on the invention of advance weaponry to survive or conquer. Remember that humankind developed intelligence as a way of survival, takeaway the need to survive and the need for intelligence is not necessary and aspies would not be necessary the might eventually be on the decline.

I might not be speculating after all according to this artical
http://spectrum.ieee.org/oct06/4665

More woman then ever are going to univercity of which many would me aspies or intellectual( a mild form of AS) and finding aspie men.

Why is the need for intelligence not required? I believe in order for peace to happen a great deal of new aged thinking must take place which is similar to aspie thinking, logic, etc.

I just think of the future and what humanity would have to do to achieve peace and things like ridding of feeling based decision making, religion, nationality, and an acceptance and learning of independence must take place. Essentially, equality

Peace will make us apathetic, conflict will make us grow. That's one of the reasons the various flavors of capitalism have overcome the "let's all love one another"-isms of comunism/socialism/hippie-ism. Mankind would have never created great art (remember how many of Shakespear's plays are tragedies) or progressesd in science (many scientific acheivements were pushed forward because of wars, if there had been no Cold War then DARPA would have never invented the Internet) or any of the other great acheivements of human history if we had not been at each other's throats the entire time evolving the whole way up.

yeah.

nature made us, it isn't our fault.

that also means, that if you have trouble getting women, then you should stop complaning about it and do something.

The majority of human kind are no different from animal they have no interest in science at all. You already know that NTs get bored with science.

At work they can call me big headed because I can make logical deduction about subject that they cannot. And if I point them in the right direction and tell them to study evolution or physics, they are not interested or it is boring. I cant win

I love when people justify war and killing. You blame it on human nature - you want to know what human nature is? BLAMING THINGS like you just did..

Is art worth killing people over? No. Is war a requirement for advancement? No! We advanced during those times because of propaganda spreading fear whch inspired productivity. Its psychological - Theres a reason that in WW2 only 15-20% of people could "aim" straight and purposely take another life - human nature? No, you are describing fear, which is within human nature. How do you explain the advances in computer science over the last 10 years?

You know, religion isn't all a bunch of crap - Buddhism and Hindu preach peace - human nature? Then no human would even think about peace

Human nature - thats an excuse and a half - no one in WW2, barely anyone in any war knows why they are even pulling the trigger. This sounds even more like 'stupid, blind following' out of fear. Human nature would have that number much higher without any pushing (Vietnam, 85% could shoot accurately (the government was aware of those numbers and "fixed" them for a reason)). War is a 'kill or be killed' mentality and NATURE states that its best to kill someone then die - that is not justification for actively killing another person as they've 0 reason to kill you.

I love justifying war, you get to see who the sick people are. War is murder on a global scale with things like 'nationality' and 'government' to cover everyone's ass - you cant charge everyone for murder if everyone is doing it. Try fining 800 people for speeding while you're the only one on the road radaring people.

If war is human nature, why do we teach kids to handle bullies peacefully - human nature would be to eliminate the human (through means of war, on a smaller scale) but we dont.

1 on 1 = murder
Gang war = murder
Governments wiping out civilians = murder (genocide)
war = not murder? Seems like they are killing for the same reason of the other 3

Take you excuses elsewhere - Peace is a creation only intelligent beings can have because they are AWARE (self-aware) of its importance. 60 million people died to make the internet - wow you're justification for war is brilliant - I think I want to leading me blindly to my death so I can help create the next rocket that may or may not be used to wipe out a small-medium sized city

Go ask Grandpa and Grandma if having all their friends brains mashed out of their heads and having their guts spreadout while they screamed in pain, ask them if the internet was worth it.. In fact, go talk to a war veteran, especially of the older wars, and ask them how much fun they had advancing society - after all, you seem to be pretty confident that advancing society and technology and art is in everyone's best interest - Me? I dont even know what society is advancing into and why I should even give a damn

Human Nature is 'thinking for yourself' as we are one of the very few animals that are self aware.. the problem is very few humans, in my belief and study, are actually aware of them being self aware..

Go commit murder then blame human nature saying humans have killed for years - go head, do it! prove me wrong! Tell the court you were advancing society and that killing people out of fear was the best route! post the results

I suggest thinking openly about this subject as I've also spent a great deal of time and mental effort thinking on this subject and I do not agree with you. I've used psychology and philosophy as well as history and evolution AS WELL as personal mental exercises, such as meditation and what it provides to the human body - I understand anxiety, depression, and other disorders and how they can potentially be cured by the individual outside of medications.

I've spent almost every night, while in meditation, thinking of personal human development. I am extremely interested in 'the mind' and how it works, especially via psychology as I feel all problems exist in society as a result of independent minds and the problems they have. Not saying I am right, but what I am stating is that I do strongly feel meditation exercises may be a requirement for personal development and advancement. If you can control your mind, then your mind is strong. Most people blame things, such as human nature (my above post) which is great but.. a little empty and a simple thought.

Now, these advancements won't happen if the mind doesnt see them happening. If the proper exercise is not done, the mind will stay the same (constant new information will help improve that or techniques such as meditation work wonders). The first fish didnt grow legs in a matter of minutes then walk onto land, no, my belief is the fish wanted to walk on land or that other fishes before him wanted to walk on land, they saw the benefit. I know that if my mind sees me doing something then there is no reason I cannot - if I think 'whoa, Ill never be able to play guitar like such and such' then I've placed a mental block on myself and chances are, I won't play as well as the next person because of this block (this revolves around a cognitive thinking process, or "correct thinking"). If I suggest to myself I can play better and even come up with new methods, there is an excellent chance that mental drive will allow me to become a great guitarist and improve/innovate (test in progress now - so far, I'm finding i'm very capable of playing - I've friends who cannot play because they think they cannot and have no drive as a result of this thinking) - correct thinking is the result of one of the newest areas in psychology - cognitive thinking.

I found cognitive thinking on my own, via meditation. I even thought I was the first to come up with it until I read that it had already been noticed. So no ground breaking theory from me (yet) but I do have tons loaded and can even explain why they would be logical advancements and why some things that exist today would be eliminated.

Logic is peace - The thirst for information that we have is 'drive'

I did not blame human nature. I said it was part of Nature, as in "the Universe" or "Reality" or whatever you want to call it.

My office keeps a pet snake. Tell me dear sir how are we to keep it alive if we do not feed it live mice that it suffocates and then eats? The snake has never taken a particular liking to vegetables. Killing and conflict are as much a part of Reality as Pi is. Denying it will not make it go away and will not make our lives better.

Two forces are at work here: 1.) DARAP - the branch of the Department of Defense that was the driving force behind the creation of the internet finally released the Internet for public consumption back in the 90's, and 2.) the raw conflict that capitalism allows -- the "creative destruction" so to speak of an open market that drives innovation forward.

It sure as hell wasn't a bunch of hippies sitting around a fire singing protest songs that made it happen.

Wow you really go on and on about "human nature" when I didn't even bring it up.

This is a horrible mistake. Appeasement to bullies shall not lead to peace in our time. It is pacifistic thinking that allows them to be the terror of the playground.

Nature doesn't care if you are happy, nature just wants you to make babies and be reproductively successful. It's that whole evolution thing you superstitious types want out of the classroom.

My father put two tours in during Vietnam. He's going on active duty again in a month. So obviously he'd do it all again. To my detriment I have been unable to serve because of my asthma (I knew you would ask).

Whoa whoa, I have to do this one bit at a time because I don't know what you're arguing! You're arguing a snake eating a mouse for survival.. Super - I'll take it from here and apply this, logic, to humans - Humans eating a cow - survival!

We kill over ideas, property, and belief - DUDE WE DO NOT EAT THOSE WE KILL IN BATTLE! lol THAT is different. You're comparing 2 completely different things.

Humans kill animals to eat, I do not consider this war

Dude, you're arguing KILLING PEOPLE. Do you realize that? And the "raw" conflict capitalism allows is business - open market - I dont see Coors brewing company going out and killing workers at the 'Miller company' - do you? I wont argue an open market - I think progression is there - there is no governmental interference and people can 'innovate' at their free will. I imagine this is one of the best things about economics but the same government that pushes war on you, which you blindly fall into because "nature" (yet, it doesnt explain why others dont despite this same 'nature'), is the same government that makes 'innovation' and 'competition' difficult - go ahead and start a business, let me know how easy it is.

Nature, you want us to be as intelligent as a dolphin or ant? Generalizations are super - I'll generalize a statement - allowing people to live lives allows for society to progress. Using fear and scare tactics to 'trick' humans into advancing society, into what, you need to answer, is wrong. Ever heard of motivation? I didnt play hockey because my dad made me out of fear, I did because I wanted to. Hockey does not exist in nature, happiness does. I received happiness 'from nature.' Does it care when I am happy? No, but it cared enough to allow me to be

Quote:
These are not excuses, these are the facts of reality.

With creatures without our level of intelligence, yes, this is reality - a deer must run to save its life but a deer does not kill another deer to save its own life. I dont know if any animals actively attack their own kind - how would that progress the species if they are killing itself? Humans kill other humans for stupid reasons - trust me dude, no one wants to kill another person - that is something that nature instills on you - ask anyone who has had to defend themselves, ask a police officer who has had to end a life, ask a war vet of WW2 before they knew of this - there is a mental block that one must over come to pull that trigger - I said human nature, you said nature (I just stopped generalizing so we could focus on our specie where as you seem to want to keep comparing us to animals like ants, apes, and crocks)

Quote:

Then don't complain when terrorist attack something - they are doing the exact same damn thing you are when you think war is justified. Dude, nature tells me that I should wake up in the morning but I can choose to sleep in. Nature tells us to sleep during the night but many people do not. Unless you rely totally on your senses and have 0 conscious thought, then yes, you are 100% correct. An animal, when starving for food, will go out and hunt and kill - it listens to its stomach then it kills something - no thinking, just 'hungry, food.' A human can be starving but has the mental ability to block that out. We are living in a society that allows us to function differently from animals. You may want to live like an animal and state "its nature its nature" but I have conscious thought that allows for things like 'logic' to be applied in my decision making - Ask a dog to count to 3 then ask me if that dog has any capacity for logic in its decision making - its relies on its 'feeling' or 'instincts' which can result in illogical action such as killing one of its own (a male lion gets first dibs on a kill, if a cub tries to get some, the male lion may kill it)

Nature doesnt care if we are happy, great, never said it did, we are humans and have conscious thought - we all want to live, we all want to be happy - lets do it by killing each other and progressing society. I wasnt born so people like you could run off, start wars, and have me follow. If I was a german during WW2, I'd be questioning why I'm pounding the s**t out of Poland. If I was a Canadian back then, I'd be questioning why Germany is pounding the s**t out of poland. I'd hope you'd be there to inform me of the progression of society that'll take place after all my friends are dead.

As well, I'm not superstitious and believe in evolution - I just believe in it a bit more then you, apparently, do since you think nature will always make a human kill another even though very few animals actively kill its own - I know many male members of species 'battle' for leader - I dont see apes killing every challenger they have - they beat them up and its over - no murder (although there will be instances of it). Hey, its nature to beat up on each other for dominance of the pack, why dont you incorporate that into your argument? We are 'related' to apes so we must have had this behaviour at some point? Makes me wonder if we've progressed anywhere since then when people like you talk of how great war is.

Quote:

Its best to use this to anger your opponent and derail them/side track them from the actual topic. When in doubt, attack the other opponent in hopes that their arguing is diverted from the topic at hand towards the individual. Passive Aggressive.

- War advances society - I believe you are focused on the whole picture and not the reasons for the 'whole picture.' You generalized everything that happens during a war and think 'war is super duper, it kills millions but it progresses society because people die for progression' even though war is based out of land, religion, or ideas. The fact people wake up and go to work proves that there are other motivating factors - my uncle works 14 hour days and travels everyday all over north America - no war is present - nature? Yes it is, its under the heading of, aww, thats right, motivation - fear is motivation - money is motivation - happiness is motivation, etc.. War movitates humans through the fear trait which sparks productivity. The fear of death. Yes, you are very right that fear sparks productivity, I'm simply saying that its fear, not war.
- You say its nature - very few species kill its own unless survival is dependent on it. A praying mantis, for example. As well, defending against an attack is different. The nazi's had 0 reason to attack anyone around them (well, outside of logical reasons, again, land, beliefs and religion were a part of that - do pandas believe in 'buddhism?' oh they must its nature)

I'll sum up my points:
- Nature - We have conscious thought - we may be the only specie on the planet - Its allows for proper decision making - if nature didnt want us to make proper choices or change then evolution would NOT happen - is that what you believe? You argue evolution then state thats it 'nature' that we havent changed and continue to kill one another. I see evolution has changing for the better, I think you see it as 'advancing technology' that didn't exist 10000 years ago. Conscious intelligent beings discovered it. Drop the idea of technology and whats your argument?
- War - Progression resulting from war is a biproduct stemming from the motivation that derives from 'fear.' The 'Airplane' was invented outside of war - its progression was improved DURING war out of fear that the opponent would have a better plane to kill them with. This is also 'competition' which is had everytime 2 sports teams compete. They play for a trophy, though, not life.

Again, I agree with you that in times of war, society 'technologically' advances, however, that isnt the end. Rome was conquering left and right and advancing, then it collapsed and the dark ages happened. There were many instances of war during this time yet not much changed. Your argument, after writing this paragraph, really only incorporates WW1 (aviation), WW2 (everything, which was why this war is a great interest to me) and 'Cold War' (which was really the competition of becoming number 1 which can be done without war (and was))

Lots of places have speculation and possiblity making up their arguements. Never hear anyone discrediting it.

State what is the truth is what aspies do. They do it because of politics or to manipulate people minds or to look good even.

When I said to my rude boy stud friend that the next step in evolution are going to be geeks and nerds, people like him would die like the dinosaurs, he thought that I envied his lifestyle, when he said with the amount of children he has it wouldn’t happen soon , and after coming to the conclusion that he is right I, I had to tell him so. He said envy isn’t a good thing, I said “my discussion are motivated by a love of science not manipulating people; if I could tell you a lie and you believe it to me it would not be fulfilling because it is not the scientific truth”
