I talk to myself excessively. It really is starting to get out of hand actually, but my living situation is off the charts stressful at the moment.

The conversations in my head never stop. I'm either reworking how an earlier conversation should have happened, what I should have said, etc.. Or like you said I am practicing what I'm going to say. Except I swear it never comes out like I practice, but does that stop me from doing it every time? No.

Glad to know I'm not the only one that does this. I love this forum. Makes me feel so normal. :D

I think aloud A LOT; I'm slightly impulsive, so I frequently announce my inner thoughts to "the world", regardless of their reaction to it or whether it was appropriate- though, people usually tell me whether it was inappropriate, anyway. :)

I go through this a LOT. Maybe it's because it's rehearsal, or because I have some sort of inner monologue within me....... that is why.

I think out loud a lot, but almost never rehearse conversations with anyone else... it usually has more to do with what I'm actually doing at any given moment, being focused on the task at hand.

I often think aloud about things and I sometimes rehearse conversations in my head.
