I also share this habit except unlike you I was caught talking to myself in public one day by some of my schoolmates/neighbors. Ugh, now they think I'm even weirder. Sucks to live in a small town.

Awh I'm sorry, that sucks =(

Sometimes, I speak too fast, leading to such things as "Onemorewhammyaoudahere"..... being said by me.

I do this as well. I used to do it a lot when I was small but I am holding back now. I love to touch fur and how different kinds of fur feels different. This is normal, right :D

When I was a kid, I loved to watch ants. These were the large outdoor red and black ants common in parts of Texas.

I'd stand on an ant hill and watch the ants run around. Of course, it was often at me since I was standing on the ant hill.

I've been told that when I was about two or three, I got so many ant bites at a church picnic that they took me to the emergency room.

Sometime in elementary school, I finally learned to stand to the side of the ant hill so that I didn't get so many ant bites.

The last time I stood and watched the ants was about a month ago.

I do speak to myself at times, guilty as charged.

My speech is rather unique; as well. It's a culmination of lots of US dialects.

Before I go to bed each night, I check the walls and ceilings of my room for spiders and other bugs. The main bugs I can't stand are spiders, cockroaches and silverfish. *shudder* I'm okay with other bugs and insects, tho, like ants, butterflies, and moths.

Hardly any of these seem unusual to me. Anything to do with speech is less a habit, more a brain thing you can't control. I can barely get my words out in the right order and I mispronounce things constantly. Talking to yourself hardly seems weird.

I talk to my cats and dog like they are people, but that seems normal to me.

I thoroughly clean and vacuum my bedroom every Saturday morning.

I always keep my Doctor Who note book within arms reach.

All my meals and snacks operate to a strict schedule, unless I sleep in, then the routine gets completely messed up.

I can't wear the same shirt twice in a week. It feels dirty to me even if I barely did anything the day I wore it. But knowing this tree climbing garden explorer., I always tend to dirty my clothes.

I procrastinate playing video games and eating junk food. Now that is weird.

Same here.

Where I live, it is generally considered not to give a wave to people you know when you see them on the highway. Many people, myself included, generally wave at everyone.

I also sometimes wave or nod hello to dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and goats.

I talk to my imaginary friend when there's no one else to talk to, regardless of the strangers who might be watching, mostly it's just muttering under my breath (my friend has excellent hearing!) but I've no doubt it looks super weird. Sometimes I go around quoting my favourite lines from movies over and over again because I like the way they sound or the way in which they were said.

I also keep my fleece winter hat on whenever I go out, even in the summer, because it covers my ears snugly and I can pretend to block out excess noises I don't want to hear. When I was younger, I would spend hours lying outside in the grass with a towel over my head and body and just block the world out. It was awesome.

In classrooms I always have to be sitting at the very front of the room and at the very end of the table so that I can get in and out easily, only have to have one stranger sitting next to me, and can block out the rest of the class and focus on the lecture. Fortunately for me, even the NT population has some sense of routine, so we all fall into assigned seating fairly quickly which means I don't have to fight for my spot. Same thing on the bus, I always try to get as close to the driver and the door as I can, and always on the left side of the aisle. I even have "my" bench at the bus stop and won't sit at any of the other benches, even if it means I have to sit next to a stranger.

My mother does that and so did my grandmother.

I do mine under the bathtub faucet and some people act like it's weird that I don't do it in the shower.

I run stairs and sometimes use my hands to "climb" when nobody is looking.
It just feels so natural thing to do~

I sometimes talk to myself when I'm playing games on my computer.
I noticed I say "we" a lot.... oh god O___O
