I'm highly skeptical of professionals; they don't know much about your new pet's ailment. Simon&Garfunkel are your best bet.

Well...he's a half of a billion years old, and still a virgin.

But on the other hand he doesnt have any obsessive interests.

In fact he doesnt seem to have any interests at all!

That's just because you don't know him. I have a pet rock as well, and mine really enjoys playing "Rock, Paper, Scissors." I expect the OP's one would as well.

Of course, the only problem with trying to play "Rock, Paper, Scissors" with your pet rock is that they always want to play "Rock, Rock, Rock" instead. They always want to leave out the paper and the scissors. You just can't get them to play it properly.

Another interest he might have is music. If you adopted a bread roll as well, the two of them could get together to form a rock and roll band. :D

At least he seems to be happy with himself.

Didn't he used to be in that band with Mick Jagger?

Who? My stone, or the OP's?

If you're talking about mine, you've got the wrong stone. My stone used to be in a band called "The Rock-it Scientists."

:D

Hello everyone. Thank you all for you concern about me. I confirm that I am indeed an Aspie.

Fnord is taking good care of me but I am a little hungry. He hasn't fed me yet. He also keeps me in a cold dark desk draw most of the time. I've managed to sneak out and use his computer to post this. Fnord - if you read this please don't put me back in the draw, I much prefer to sit on your windowsill in the sunshine.

By for now; I'm off to watch the Flintstones on TV. :D

If you are a rock, how do you manage to type? :)

This thread has now totally spoilt our image as having no sense of humor. I can't believe how witty all the comments are!

Oh and welcome to WP, FnordsRock!

I use voice recognition software. My voice is a little gravelly though.

Thank you for the welcome. The last few days have been good. I was just rolling past, gathering no moss, when I saw this kind looking gentleman in his garden. He spotted me and has taken me in and given me a caring home. :D

It's very cold here, so I'm wearing a rockwool jacket.

I'm getting a rising urge to start personifying the buzzkill meme.
I'm more curious however as to what it is that is pretending to be a rock (that is also pretending to be a fluffy rock).
Also how long this simple satire is going to continue for.

Can't you see what kind of rock it is?

Sedimentary, my dear Watson.

(I didn't make that up, it's a non-original joke - I found it online)

Well, that's a load off my mind!

Ask Millie to fix you a sandwich before she leaves for the day.

Oh ... sorry ... I thought you might be photophobic. Take any sill you'd like. Mind the cacti, though; they tend to be a little prickly with newcomers.

You can handle Linux? Cool!

Their doing a Rockford Files marathon on 14.

BTW: I hope nobody accuses us of rockpuppetry...

;)
