Really? That's not the case for all mothers. I can tell my Mom and she always understands. I guess everyone's mom is different...


My mum gave me the cold shoulder when Pete Quaife passed away. I guess that I'm not yet over it as much as I thought I was. The death, I mean.

Feeling empty is common. Their loss has taken something from your life. For me, when I get like that is because the occurrence has not really processed. Accepting the empty feeling and that they are gone is grieving. Not all grief is outward action..

I think people handle death in their own way, and there's no wrong way to react. That includes the empty feeling, as it's a common reaction especially if someone's death came on suddenly.
