Someone tried to "penny" me

Well I get that they were being mean, but why?
I think maybe I don't look and move like most people, so could it be because of that? Because if I were just a normal person walking down the street I don't think they would do that. Should I ask someone if I look weird and maybe try to do things to make myself stand out less when I'm on the street?

Random violence - my dad went fishing last weekend, and parked in a car park in a fairly well used area. He was fishing for 3 hours, when he came back someone had smashed the side windows, smashed off the wing mirrors and cracked the front windshield.

He was lucky - a guy a few weeks ago parked alot further down in a remote area, and when he came back, his car had been burnt out. Hadnt even took anything out of it - radio and everything still in it.

It's a wonder I haven't had that happen to me before - I'm a perfect target for it. I have got people screaming out of car windows at me just to get my attention. I have a good mind to stick my fingers up next time, to show that I am not the sweet, meek mug people make me out to be.

I wouldn't do that, Joe90. You don't know if they've got a gun or if they're violent types that would cause you a whole lot more trouble.

I got pennied all the time in Jr high funny thing is i collected all the pennies and cashed them in at the end of the school year.

Round here they do it with cans of coke, or, in some cases, bottles.

Luckily they're all really lousy aims (because they didn't listen in physics class I expect ).

Luckily it hasn't happened to me yet. I have had shouting out of the car and some gum thrown at me before when I had long hair, yet I ignored it.

Keep the penny and remember the registration, then if you see the car again, have fun with the penny

Now a days people chuck beer bottles at my head luckily I have lightning fast reflexes and am able to dodge em as they chuck em while driving by at 65 mph.

Well, I'm a bit ashamed to say that I did this a couple of times in high school. I wasn't a sociopath or a bully, just dumb and unthinking. Also, too uncoordinated to actually hit anyone, so I guess that's something.

To the OP, the person we did it to didn't really matter much - it was more of a convenience thing than picking a specific target for a reason. If that makes you feel any better.

You should take a good look at the car, the people in it and most of all the license plate and call the cops the next time something likes that happens to you.
