I lost my cigarette lighter a few weeks ago. I'm still distressed about it.

My daughter forms attachments to many many objects. She has a teddy, with a special place in her heart, but nearly everything she owns is special to her. Last week, she had a lollipop in school. She wrapped it up after playtime and took it back into class. She forgot to bring it home with her and was distraught the next day, when she realised the cleaner had probably thrown it in the bin.

I voted yes, although it's partially false - I had a fairly large attachment to my coat back in elementary school; but I've since grown out of it. Man, that thing lasted like, three years...

These little guys. Usually a few or all of them accompany me everywhere in my bag...it all depends on how stressed or anxious I anticipate becoming in certain situations. :D Joining the ranks recently is a tiny plush of Sulley (from Monsters Inc) from Hallmark's line of Itty-Bittys. I call him "Baby Sulley."

I have an autism awareness band that I wear every day. More generally, I like having writing utensils and I always have 2 Papermate pens (1 black, 1 red), a highlighter (a skinny one, not a fat one) and a pencil in my left pocket (at a minimum).

When I was younger I used to have a little white sheep that I carried around with me wherever I went (I called it Lamby, because I was wicked creative like that). I wasn't allowed to bring it to school though. In hindsight, that was probably a good thing... like a little, fuzzy, white bull's eye for getting picked on!

In high school I used to carry my favorite Naruto manga in my backpack...it has my favorite character in it, which I related somewhat to.

Now it is my Autism medical tag that I wear when I leave the house. It is colorful and I love the tag!

My husband says that I am too attached to my stuff. I tend to get really upset if my stuff is disturbed or troubled or used incorrectly. He thinks that is definitely weird.

Aww, I used to have a "Lambie," too....I got her from the Oriental Trading Co. and she had little pink hooves. She was even in one of my baby pictures with me. :D
