I got 5 right (within two tries on each; I didn't get # 6 until my very last guess...). I only got 1 on the first try. Damn those are fast. You can't even blink while staring at them.

When I think about these tests I always think they should mention that whether you are good or bad at deciphering the expressions, you are are still only seeing expressions of an actor immitating an emotion. They could be very bad actors or exaggerating their expressions. # 9 looked like an unwilling participant in this little experiment. And #6 is trying to look angry but looks like she is about to smile or laugh when you look at her frozen face. :wink:

The one thing I've noticed across these various tests is that I seem to be able to distinguish positive emotions from negative ones, but I don't always get the precise emotion right. For example, anger, disgust, and contempt can be tricky to differentiate; the same goes with surprise and fear.
