Good luck with that.

No-one is interested in autism.

Because as a subject it is too amazing for most to comprehend.

So it is eschewed.

no; quite simply.

"I'm running for miss America, better get a trump card up my sleeve since everyone else does."

Sure, autism awareness is great; but she's using this as an excuse for her own personal gains.

Does she plan on only using cute kids to forward her message? The pictures with three blondes, one Asian, a black kid and a kid somewhere from Mexico or further south of there. If so here's a big cup of whatever. And those stupid puzzle ribbons. Reading a story from a parent, who's life sucks so much it has vacuum, since their son will never be the high school quarter back on a winning football team. All because the horror of Autism!

Try and get any help as an Autistic/Asperger adult, especially if your are not group home or shelter work material. The big gun awareness groups act like Autism vaporizes when you hit legal age.

Sorry, I also have issues with NAMI playing the poor victim card for fund raising and general awareness purposes.

But ... an airhead in a beauty/popularity contest that objectifies women is something I think isn't a good thing.

I liked the part where she was swinging and saying that autism is not a sickness that can be cured. I also like Montana.
