Been there, done that, got the shirt. I just finished my MPH and graduated Summa Cum Laude, so there is light at the end of the tunnel. I intend to start my PhD in epidemiology soon - a geeky pursuit like that should fit me like a glove. So, the bottom line is that there is a time and place for smart autistic kids to be appreciated, and that time and place is graduate school.
Just as an aside, I did have some trouble as an undergrad, though not nearly as bad as highschool. My mom now works with this really exceptionally bright twenty-something who keeps dropping out of college and I suspect he has some ASD. My suggestion to him was an accreditted online program since it feels more like college montessori-style than sitting in a room full of average kids who piss you off with average questions (at least that's how I felt). You can PM me if you want to talk more about that option since it worked exceptionally well for me.

Why on earth do you think that you would get banned for saying something like this? It's actually a rather common problem for people with ASD's I think. It's on topic for this forum, but you may want to start a similar thread in the schools forum to talk to the people who hang out mainly there.
