I have always had a strange sense of humor and laughed at things others did not think were funny. It is one trait of mine that I actually like. Being able to make myself laugh extremely easily has always been a huge advantage for me, especially while having difficult times during my lifetime.

This is me. When I was younger I would make jokes and only the teacher would laugh, the other kids would stare at me like I had 3 heads. However, now that I'm an adult, I still don't find that anyone finds me funny, except REALLY old people.

Puns, wordplay, absurdity make me laugh. The worse the pun, the better (ask my coworkers). :D Most sitcom humor? Most "comedies"? Amusing at best, lame at worst.

I do as well.....Which would probably surprise a lot of people that know me, as I am a really quiet, passive, gentle person.....But I find humor in a lot of things that would be considered morbid. I try to keep the laughs on the inside when I think it might be inappropriate for the setting, key word there is TRY...and that's if I realize and filter before the laughter flies out.

There has been many times that I've caught my self laughing, sometimes hysterically, in situations where no one else was. Sometimes because I guess it was inappropriate to, or no one else could even begin to see the humor in what I was laughing at....and I couldn't even begin to explain to them how/why I found it humorous.

Yup....I can relate to this. I can't really give an example, but absurdities will get to me. Coincidences for surely, and synchronicities. Most of the comedy seen in mainstream film these days just annoys me, rather than making me laugh.

He takes a paper bag, blows it up with air, and pops it right behind the crowd with his other hand to simulate the sound of a gunshot (think popping balloon noise but louder). needless to say the crowd that was gathered around the murder victim did not find it funny but my dad thought it was hilarious. I got him out of there before he got shot.

See....This made me laugh. Not something I would do, and I can see how it's inappropriate because of what happened, but seeing this situation in my mind makes me giggle.

I guess it might seem kind of funny looking at it on paper because I don't know WTF my dad was thinking. This was some pretty serious s**t, someone was just murdered. When I say across the street I don't mean Main St., it was a narrow residential side street so it was around 25 ft. away.

No... Why would it be?

Just because the answers were completely predictable... as you may have realized by now.

I find Wordplay humorous as well as other individuals in pain or misfortune. I have a sadistic-sexual sense of humor.

I have a dark sense of humour that is definitely away from the norm, which would be find if I didn't have to write a best man's speech in the next few weeks!

YES. I appreciate a wide variety of humour, but I often roll on the floor laughing at stuff that is delightfully random, unusual and zany with a pinch of satire...think much of The Simpsons, as well as Youtube Poop.

I tend to get board and lost in my mind and observe little things in public and see humor in them, usally real life issues or example, kids and parents argueing in a store, general anger can appear so funny or some reason. Same for road rage, for example, my parents will sware and make hand justures in anger at offending motorsts and I will laugh my head off to there extream disaproveal. People doing/acting dumb does it too. Sometimes I get board and start deep thinkng and remember a joke or humourous event, usally a scene/skit from a comedy TV show that is somehow related to the present situation and play it in my head and chuckle, happened in church once. I have got a good memory so I remember word for word mostly.

quite often I get the "what are you laughing at question", I just hope its something I can share.

Yes dark humour someone gets hit in the head funny. Movies such as Fargo when the funny looking guy gets shot in the face he kills the guy that shot him stops shooting and starts kicking him... :lmao: gets me laughing

Sigh. All the good sadistic girls are taken. I'm sure you're a master with a sword too.
