For adults with ASDs, what group would you classify yourself into?

[4] What is your most recent overall Autism Spectrum Quotient(ASQ) score? 50
[5] For your most recent ASQ, what was your ASQ Social Skills sub-score?
[6] For your most recent ASQ, what was your ASQ Communication sub-score?

Here's how I classified the poll factor categories:
[1] GAF Score: (70+ indicates normal/near normal functioning, -69 indicates impairment in functioning)
[2] FSIQ Score: (115+ indicates above average FSIQ, 85-114 indicates average FSIQ, -84 indicates below average FSIQ) 116
[3] ASQ Score: (-29 indicates a relatively low level of autistic traits, 30-39 indicates a moderate level of autistic traits, 40+ indicates a relatively high level of autistic traits)


I really don't understand any of this. I have put my known scores in bold alongside your questions above. Can you help me with working out anything else, or have I not taken all the tests I needed to take to fully answer?

I edited to include my AQ subscores - Social skills subscore is 10, Communication subscore is 8. Within the relevant questions for those two subscores the questions I don't match on are

-people don't tell me that I'm impolite, I'm the other extreme, overly polite.

-I'm not the last to understand the joke

How do you get a GAF score? Is it something I should find in my diagnostic report?

Listed on that site are 10 levels of functioning (ranging from 0 to 100). Choose a level that you would fit into the most in terms of your current level of functioning.

Listed on that site are 10 levels of functioning (ranging from 0 to 100). Choose a level that you would fit into the most in terms of your current level of functioning.

In terms of your ASQ sub-scores, since your ASQ score is the maximum score possible on the test (50), it is safe to assume that your ASQ sub-scores for both social skills and communication are 10 and 10, respectively.

OK, in that case my GAF score is 51-60. My FSIQ was 116 so I have voted GAF<70, FSIQ>=115, ASQ[Overall]=30-39 even though I don't know my ASQ.

It should be on the same page as your diagnoses listed by axis. That is where my GAF is listed. It is 55. I don't the numbers for the other things the thread is asking for. I'm not going to take a self assessment test online.

So far, according to the poll, out of the 13 adults (with diagnosed ASDs) who chose to vote, only 3 (or 23.0%) of them had GAF scores of 70 or above. As of right now, 2 (or 50%) of the 4 voters with an ASQ score of 29 or less had a GAF score indicative of normal/near-normal functioning, 1 (or 16.67%) of the 6 voters with an ASQ score of 30-39 had a GAF score indicative of normal/near-normal functioning, and none of the 3 voters with an ASQ score of 40 or above had a GAF score indicative of normal/near-normal functioning. It seems like a lower ASQ score increases the chance of higher functioning. But there are not enough voters to make any meaningful conclusions just yet.

It appears that this thread is dying down a bit and only 12 different people have posted. This number is not large enough for me to make any meaningful conclusion about the relationship between GAF and the following factors: (i) VIQ (ii) PIQ (iii) ASQ. But based on the data provided by those 12 different people, the only conclusion that can be made is that there is no relationship between GAF and VIQ, no relationship between GAF and PIQ, and no relationship between GAF and ASQ.
