Seeing words when it is spoken to you

This happens to me with learning japanese, I am often bombarded by floating kanji ... Last time I saw that many kanji flying around I was watching onmyou taisenki and then an episode of Bobobo.

I have that seeing words that are said to me or someone else. It is like doing a spelling test and having the answers in front of you. I had spelling tests at my primary school and come top in them because when the word was said I could see in my mind how the word was spelt. So like reading the answers. Most people think I have excellent spelling.
