Why? I think people like that are scum. Perhaps she's repressing some autistic traits of her own - who knows?

It's a penis turned outside in...lol. A psychology teacher once said that.

Lol, you probably had at least 20 seconds worth of cricket chirps while everyone in there was trying to sort out whether he or she knew that from experience :? .

I was wondering the SAME thing! The ONLY time I saw/heard that kind of thinking was on watch a show about how "sex changes" are done! Frankly, I agree with Michael Medved here. It is sexual mutalation.

And HEY, I can't help it if ticker doesn't know about the "scorched earth" policies! GEE, I probably should have added a couple things for good measure, but you would have thought that ESPECIALLY cruel. I wouldn't have liked it before, and I certainly don't now.

And WHY is a PSYCHOLOGY teacher talking about that anyway?

I allready made an account on there before when a member of the autism hub had shown similar examples of their attitudes towards those with autism. One woman tried to make the analogy that those who do not try and cure their kids are like enablers who supports alcoholics. Comments like that make you wonder who really has the disorder. I think it is high time those on the spectrum start "educating" some of these groups and supporting those who are allready doing so but are greatly outnumbered.

http://www.autism-pdd.net on this site. In the message boards. There is a woman who believes. That autistic/apergers children must be conformed to society as well as wanting to sterilize her child because her child is autistic SN is Sunflowers. Ok everyone make accounts and spam the forum until their server crashes (just kidding but if you want to go ahead) anyways i think a few people should go over to their forum and enlighten them on how ignorant they are about those of us with autism or aspergers syndrome. Just a thought

Sunflowers? More like Rafflesia carrion flowers full of disease!

Her username should be SkeletonOfAutisticDeath, not Sunflowers. :x

Her only error is seeing Autism as an Illness but don’t most NTs. Don’t Aspies find it hard dating because NT think they are less fit then other NTs.

All the s**t that I have go through, I have decided not to have any Children myself, well not with another aspie or anyone male brained or intellectual.

I despise parents who are ashamed of their child because they aren't NT ! !! Any child, whether they're Autistic, or Down's Syndrome, or whatever, are to be loved and cherished ! !! They're NOT reflections of the parent ! !! They are NOT possessions to be shown off ! !! If they're different, so be it ! ! Ant parent that dis-owns a child because the child is low-functioning should be shot.

Which reminds me of the controversy over those parents who are surgically altering their daughter so she can't grow up. Nice pair, eh?

Can you post up a link to the post where she says that ASD kids should be sterilized? I only found a few other idiotic things that she said.

Indians used to be sterilized and up until 1976, the US had the Termination Act that led to many Indian babies to be adopted by white people and be stripped of their Indian heritage. I'm one of those.
I love how there are people who want the freedom to discuss abusing their kids. like it's some right of theirs. Well, it is legal.

IMO its not the ethical thing to believe but its the truth - it is an illness. What sucks about that is it makes very decent human beings inseparable from the illness just on account of its genetic basis. Again though, don't hate the NTs for this one - rather hate the c#$% who designed the genome to work the way it does.

i don't know that i would define it as an illness. a condition, or difference is a better way to look at it
