Not really, but it does interest me. I think my fascination in sex might be more "scientific" than it is for most people? I'm just really curious about the biological systems behind human sexual response and how it all interacts with the pleasure center of the brain. It's all very amusing in a way! Is that too much information?

Haha oh man, that's exactly how I feel a lot of times. I like the scientific side to human relationships in general. I'm interested why people put so much emphasis on it. Moreover, I'm interested in cases like Rihanna's, where she's been abused but plans to stay with the guy, why people love drama, unpredictability, adventure, dating people they're barely attracted to, etc.

I can do it this way too but I'm very rarely in persona assuming mood. Lately, I've been having panic attacks when coming near clubs.

I have some questions for you, I'm really curious.

1) Does commotion and general activity around you make you uncomfortable? When I'm doing something and someone near me is doing something or is in the same room, I can't concentrate fully.

Depends. I can't always cope when I'm down, say, my grandmother's, and all the family are round but are in and out all the time, and nobody is sitting still. People keep on wanting more and more cups of tea and the door is left open letting in a draft and it all makes me feel unsettled.

2) How long do you listen to music during a day? I listen to it almost constantly, wearing headphones in order to eliminate any outside noise.

I don't have a set amount of time I listen to music. I just do whenever. I always do when I'm on the bus, on my iPod.

3.) What's your relationship with light? Light makes me nervous. During summer, I put a dark blanket on my window because otherwise my room gets too bright which makes me uncomfortable. I also don't understand why sunny weather makes people so happy, it makes me feel uneasy
.
Light doesn't bother me at all, never has done. In fact it makes me feel better. Darker rooms make me feel more isolated, and my pupils feel like they are stretched when a room is dull and dingy. I do like the sunshine. Well I love the rain too because rain makes you feel cosy and I can find it very comforting, but I dislike dry but dull and cloudy days, and I can't stand a dim room.

4) How do you deal with things that are outside of your comfort zone? I went out last night, came in front of a club, heard loud music and flickering light effects, I simply couldn't force myself to get in there. I'm lucky that I've been blessed with a great friend who has similar notions.

I usually try and avoid them, if I can help it. If I can't, then I just try to take the bull by the horns and have to do it, although I do feel bored and agitated.

5) Do you know how to flirt? I sure as hell don't. My friend gave me some advice: smile at a girl, if she smiles back, you're in. I'm yet to test this, it's extremely hard for me to look at other people's faces, even when I know they can't see me.

I can flirt and I usually do. I prefer to do it with men that I fancy, and when they're the flirty type, it makes it even better. When there's a man that I don't fancy who is the flirty type (to the extreme), I can still flirt and sometimes end up fancying him, but not to date, if that makes sense.

6) Do you actively pursue sex? I can't for the life of me understand why people put in so much time in this.

Not at the moment because I don't currently have a boyfriend, but when I do I do want to give sex a go. I am not willing to have sex with someone whom I don't fancy.

7) Does the society putting pressure on you to do things, like pursuing sex, and basically saying you're ''missing out'' affect you in any way? I always say how can I miss out on something I don't want.

Yes I do feel like I am missing out because I'm 23 next month (err, is next month April? According to the forecasted weather in the horizon anyone would think it's still January...) and I haven't had sex with anybody yet. I may be able to flirt but that doesn't mean I'm some whore who has sex with everyone.

So, yeah, I'm real interested in your responses, thanks.

I generally just shut it out. I do get some pretty major anxiety if I am in a crowded, closed in space. A while back I was part of a team doing some work at a school. The headmaster invited us to have lunch in the very busy dining hall. It was as much as I could do to choke my food down and stay in my seat without running out of there. I'm so glad I didn't have to try to make conversation.

Well, let's put it this way - my biggest complaint about my current MP3 player is that the battery only lasts about 7 hours.

3.) What's your relationship with light?

My eyes are sensitive to bright light. I have some very dark photochromic glasses which help a lot. I do like the warmth of bright sunlight though.

I generally tend to avoid things that are out of my comfort zone. You'd have to threaten me with a baseball bat to get me into a club!

I don't have a clue and am completely oblivious to people flirting with me.

Nope. I'm asexual.

This used to cause me some anxiety but these days I do what I feel comfortable with. If that seems odd to others, well they'll just have to deal with it.

1) Does commotion and general activity around you make you uncomfortable? When I'm doing something and someone near me is doing something or is in the same room, I can't concentrate fully.
i dont think it does me. i can usually block out what goes on around me like when im in a shop or somewhere.

2) How long do you listen to music during a day? I listen to it almost constantly, wearing headphones in order to eliminate any outside noise.
i dont listen to much music only when i am particuly stressed or upset about something.

3.) What's your relationship with light? Light makes me nervous. During summer, I put a dark blanket on my window because otherwise my room gets too bright which makes me uncomfortable. I also don't understand why sunny weather makes people so happy, it makes me feel uneasy.
light? light is ok, never have worried me. i like to sit in my garden when its really hot because i find it relaxing. i do hate being cold but i dont mind the rain although floods worry me.

4) How do you deal with things that are outside of your comfort zone? I went out last night, came in front of a club, heard loud music and flickering light effects, I simply couldn't force myself to get in there. I'm lucky that I've been blessed with a great friend who has similar notions.
i dont go to parties and places. sometimes i have gone to one with my husband but i stay with him all the time and sometimes he gets fed up with the idea of social envioment and we leave early which is how i like it. he has adhd and seems really social but inside he's rather shy and prefers to be alone with me than be at a rowdy party. well, he likes being alone with my anyway.

5) Do you know how to flirt? I sure as hell don't. My friend gave me some advice: smile at a girl, if she smiles back, you're in. I'm yet to test this, it's extremely hard for me to look at other people's faces, even when I know they can't see me.
i dont flirt but aparently im so pretty that men like the look of me and tend to ask me out, which i cant say i care for. i like my make up but i dont do it to impress people, even my own husband. i do it for myself because i like doing it. but i dont flirt at all like i said, but still have men flirting with me. very annoying.

6) Do you actively pursue sex? I can't for the life of me understand why people put in so much time in this.
yes i do pursue sex, i love doing it with my husband and we do spend a lot of time kissing and cuddling. sometimes i am too tired to have sex but i still let him....ok its getting too personal now so i wont say no more.

7) Does the society putting pressure on you to do things, like pursuing sex, and basically saying you're ''missing out'' affect you in any way? I always say how can I miss out on something I don't want.

no i wasnt too bothered about it, i did like being alone, but i really did fall in love with my husband when i first met him because he was completely my type and i fancied him a lot (still do now more than ever). but i didnt do it because of society pressure, i did it for myself. he loves me too and i could tell he needed the love of a good woman.

i must say, society has never had much affect on me. as long as i dont do things that break the law, i believe i am happy in myself the way i choose to live my life.

Well, I'm 21 and I've never even kissed a girl in my life, so no worries, you're not alone :p

I must say I envy asexual people.

That's admirable. I feel this way most of the time but sometimes the pressure gets to me and I become very nervous.

1) Does commotion and general activity around you make you uncomfortable? Always. I can't distract from it.

2) How long do you listen to music during a day? I listen to it almost constantly, wearing headphones in order to eliminate any outside noise. A couple of hours a day. I wear headphones because I hate other people knowing what I'm listening to (there's no shame - it's just an invasion of privacy).

3.) What's your relationship with light? When I walk into shops I always get the feeling that I'm going to faint. I'd much prefer a dark room, any day. They're cozy. :)

4) How do you deal with things that are outside of your comfort zone? I also can't stand flickering lights - it's the fear I'll have a seizure (I'm not even epileptic). Stuff like horrid screaming brats and yappy dogs drive me to a meltdown quickly. I have been known to shout offensive things at thundering neighbours (behind closed doors).

5) Do you know how to flirt? Nope, and I have no interest. Who the f*ck would look at me, anyway?

6) Do you actively pursue sex? I'm only 17, why should I? I'm not a slag.
7) Does the society putting pressure on you to do things, like pursuing sex, and basically saying you're ''missing out'' affect you in any way? I'll quote jk1 on this, because it's the same answer I'd give:

Quote:
Any way, for #7, I tend to be put off by pressure and tend to do the opposite of what they try to pressure me into doing. I'm easily put off by popular/trendy things. I don't care about what other people value. I value what I value. So I basically seem to have the same attitude as yours.

Good questions, man. :)
