My wife saw me browsing this thread, she said she'd buy me a t-shirt that said "I was diagnosed with aspergers and all I got was this lousy t-shirt".

I think I would feel pretty neutral, but enjoy the closure. I would probably tell my friends first, starting with the one who suggested ASD as a reason for my problems in life (and thus learning ways to deal with them), and then my parents. I would also tell my boss because I informed her of my suspicion and asked for copies of my work evaluations and incident reports. Other than that, I might use it as a reason to get a steak dinner afterwards.
