Although I'm sure the largest majority of members is American, there are members from all over the world on WP. Why are you asking how many USD's everyone gets (as if it isn't a personal enough question to begin with)! Are you forgetting this is the internet - AKA World Wide Web?

Actually, without a baseline Cost of Living (COL) to compare to, the US side of things is little better. I would generally use Purchase Power Pairity (PPP) numbers, then work to a COL baseline, but OP has'nt provided one.

It's kind of rough. There's no good alternative. OP, you should put a euro/GBP/Australian $/Canadian $ ---- > $ calculator in the OP to get more results.

$ are the single most-used currency on this site because most of the rest is likely split between small English-speaking countries all using different currencies, and the non-English speaking EU is not well-represented here.

I was expecting people to convert to an approximate USD using PPP or actual conversion rate.

That's kind of a lot to ask. I would probably have to do separate research to figure out how to do this. Nobody is going to answer a poll if it requires that much work to do it. You should put some currency calculators in the OP to make it easier.

Well, since some recent posters have said that Aspies are "damaged goods", one does wonder if those posters would believe that PPP calculations are within our reach.

Now, I looked up a couple of sites, but then again, I just need to find out what US City you're using as a baseline for Cost-of-living(COL).

If you just type something like "euro to USD" Google will pop up an automatic conversion calculator.

I make nothing, I'm on no type of government assistance or medical assistance. My husband is the only source of income I have and we're struggling on that, especially as our health insurance is doubling. I've tried to get on government assistance, but they have hung up on me every or just flat out said "No." Not my fault they don't do the calculations right and refuse to listen.

It seems that Bill Gates went from suspected Aspie to definitely an Aspie in a matter of months. What is going on? Did Bill Gates leak a diagnosis in an interview or something?

For the people that are having trouble finding a currency converter, here's a link >Currency converter <
Go to the lower right corner, the converter is there and covers most currencies.

I am a little above $ 30.000. I could actually fall under it if the Euro's value drops about 10 cents :P
