Sorry but I disagree, I think these guys were all "Too Cool for School" and didn't want to be seen to lack the latest insider knowledge.

Two Door Cinema Club, the band "played in Canada", were the one that wasn't made up, but the name of their record was.

We'll have to disagree on this one. At least some of the clips had indications that the interviewees had suspicions that it was a joke.

Of course that's the whole point of it but I still think it looked fake. If they were that concerned about "being in the know" they would have looked up all the bands playing ahead of time and would have given at least a brief quizzical pause when a bizarre sounding name not on the list was mentioned.

The "Two Door Cinema Club" guy could have been for real though. He might have actually interviewed them since it was a real band. I notice he didn't say anything about the fake album name.

Fair enough.

Out of 150 to 200 bands per weekend and 50 to 60000 people attending I'm sure the reporters could find some to fall for this. How many people were interviewed and didn't make the edit?
