I am the opposite. I almost always go barefoot, even sometimes in the street and grass except during special events/socializing so my feet do not get trampled. My feet are hideous because of this and since they are big and wide as well. I need extra wide shoes for my hooves...

i always wear socks too, I have three varieties/lengths of the same model of sock (these nice breathable ones made by Nike. They're quite expensive but last a while, considering their fineness

I don't like wearing socks at home because eventually my feet become very cold. Also I like airing my feet. That way they feel cleaner. When I go out, I need socks and shoes.

I dislike the feelings of certain textures so I always wear this special textured sock made from Calvin Klein. I hate the feeling of sand, certain rugs and carpets, and silky textures. I can't remember the last time I walked around without wearing socks. I even wear socks in my sleep and as soon as I get out of the shower, I have to dry my feet and put on my socks before I leave the bathroom. I made socks part of my physical feature lol. Is anybody the same way?

I wear socks 24/7except during showers.
My feet are so sensitive that I struggle to tolerate shoes and do so only if I have no option...in winter.
I wear socks in bed to decrease the sensation of the sheets touching my feet.

Pretty f**ked up, hey?

I wear socks mainly for warmth rather than textural reasons. During winter, I cannot stand the thought of my feet freezing up at night, so I wear socks to keep them warm. It's become a habit for me to wear socks almost daily, even in the summer when it's too hot to wear them.

I have a high sensitivity to cloth-material.
It burns on my skin.
If I do not have to wear socks, because it is warm I don't do it, if it is cold I do as I hate being cold.
As a child I had a severe hypersensitivity to pantyhoses, but I had to wear them and I was scratching and crying all the time.
And my arms had to be free as well, also outside in winter.
As a child I was hyopsensitive to cold, but not anymore.
I still do scatch a lot because of clothing, but I do not cry anymore.
But clothes do burn and itch and my skin is scratched open permanently.
Also blankets do burn, but I need them when it is cold, but I wake up in the night from the burning feeling, it hurts a lot.
