If I was in your place I would probably sue that scumbag. Anti-aspergers is like the anti-semitism of the 21st century. Aspergers people will eventually be demonised and scapegoated by idiots.

Realistically, I would say he was just ignorant.

The paranoid side of me would freak out if I heard that from a co-worker, though. I have always been afraid I was ret*d and didn't know it (was lied to about my IQ, maybe as an experiment...), and I'd also be worried that the co-worker guessed I was on the spectrum and the comment was meant for me to hear.

Don't listen to me, though. On that personality disorder test I score very high in Paranoid personality disorder.

Also, originally, the word "ret*d" meant "slow", not "mentally challenged".

I am not mentally challenged, but I do am slow, so I guess people are pointing out a fact...?
Whatever, I don't really care.

This is the attitude that I need.

Everybody in the group works a different shift than me so I have never met any of them. There is no way they know I am autistic. I can't say that to anybody that works with my shift.
