Much has been said about autistic spectrum people and the police. In recent years police forces have been issuing collapsible batons to its officers, and one supposed advantage is that the sound of it being deployed intimidates people into compliance though some admit it makes the target agitated. How do you think ASD people would likely react to this? Can you imagine yourself melting down at the sight and sound of a collapsible baton?
I've had guns pulled on me at a Navy base because I took a weird turn after a checkpoint and I managed enough composure to not get shot.
So I think a collapsible baton would be no big deal.
