Loved it--thanks. :)

I deal with crowds and noise all day at work. Why would I want to do the same in my free time?

To sum it up (well, kind of):

Quote:
Slurms: "I'm partied out. All I want is to stay home and rent videos and watch them with a few friends. Is that so much to ask?" --"Fry and the Slurm Factory", FUTURAMA

(quote taken from www.theinfosphere.org)

(In my case, "partied out" means "socially exhausted from just getting through a standard workday.")

This comic is me in a nutshell, with a little bit more awkwardness thrown in. I really enjoyed the comic and it was pretty nice to see a hand drawn comic! Really cool, thanks for sharing :)

This is totally characteristic. Thanks for sharing, I appreciate it a lot. I really enjoy this comic.

I really felt like the main character, identical.

I am reminded how much it frustrates me when people take me to a party and then leave me to fend for myself. The last time that happened I just took a nap in a corner until another friend introduced me to someone who was a big fan of stuff I had written, and the party became non-boring for me.

I would normaly go outside and sit on the front steps, or walk around the block. Waiting until they'd done their thing and wanted to go home. And if anybody was leaving the party, I'd hitch a ride home with them instead.

Yea, being stranded at someone elses friend's house while they partied was the worst experience.

You quickly learn not to "be taken to a party", you get stranded very quickly.

No, but I just thought it's a good one.
