Have you tried prayer?
Yes, of course.
Did it work?
It probably just takes time, but I just wish I knew of a way to find more people that understands me for the time being as I struggle.
God sometimes humbles those He calls by denying their prayers for relief - either that, or prayer simply does not work.
Getting smart with me huh? Please stop. I'm really not up for this right now.

Oh, sorry ... I really do mean that part in bold. The rest of it ... well, I'm sorry.

There is some truth to the theology - He may be sharpening you for His plan - steel sharpens steel, after all - and what you are going through right now may make you stronger to be better able to help others out later. No one understands your Autism ... maybe growing through this will better enable you to help someone else through a similar situation of their own.

Again, I'm sorry ... it's been quite some time since I've tried to express theology with anything other than caustic sarcasm.

I like that explanation, in regards to "steel sharpening steel." growing through my own autism has helped me with the others in my square pegs aspie group as well.
