Don't eat those "pink mints" -- they might make you sick! !

I did, once, many years ago when I was going to college and had a summer job with the provincial government. We were in a tall office building. The Men's and Ladies' rooms were at opposite corners of the elevator lobby, and to get to the men's room from my desk I had to cross the lobby diagonally. One time I was elsewhere on the floor, and had to go, so I went into the lobby, crossed diagonally, and went inside. I didn't realize it was the Ladies' room until two women came in, talking. I was in a stall... I sat motionless, barely daring to breathe, until they left a few minutes later. At which point I got the heck out of there, fast. I don't think anyone ever knew.

Why even have this up? I have ALMOST done it by accident. Some bathrooms here are made to look like others(At airports, for example, some bathrooms have two entrances, and some bathroom entrances look identical but one side is for males, and the other is for females.), and you have to be careful. Luckily, I never made the mistake. STILL, sometimes I look through the crack in the stall door to make sure the urinals are there, just in case.

BTW Women tend, on average, to use the restroom 33% more out of need, and go more often for support. Sorry ladies, it is true. ALSO, urinals take less time and provide for more men to be supported.

Because of these THREE facts, womens lines at bathrooms at large events tend to be MUCH longer. I have actually heard some women theorize conspiracies. It is simply social and biological differences.

Anyway, California and some other states now MANDATE that women should be allowed to use the mens rest rooms if needed!! !! !

It'd be such an honor to share the bathroom with the unfortunate ladies who have nowhere else to pee.

Ooh, let's share embarrassing wrong-bathroom stories! :D I was in a bar, and I saw a bathroom that I thought was the place's only bathroom, so I went in. The floor was all wet and slippery, so I fell down. Then the bartender came in and said, "you know, the ladies' room is in the back." And I was trying to pick myself up off the floor at this point (fyi, I'd only had about one drink by this time).
Whoops...
So my answer is yes. 8)

I usually do the same thing every time. Walk in, notice there is no urinals, sneak out as fast as I can.

I've come close a couple time in HS. Was crusing along on auto-pilot, heading to the bathroom, make a right hand turn(all the bathrooms in my HS were set up exactly the same, mens room on the right, with a short hallway seperating the actual entrance from the hall) and hit a wall. :? Back up, check the signs and then finish heading to the mens room. No big deal, hell some NT guys I know did worse(though not always unintentionaly). Still, I make sure to always check the sign before heading in, and try to limit my auto-pilot response.

When I do it I like to say that I had a 'French Moment'. :P

How funny, since one wrong bathroom incident happened to me while visiting Montreal. I don't really speak French, and I didn't know that "toilet" means men's bathroom and "toilette" means women's bathroom. So I asked where the "toilet" was, and was directed to what was apparently the men's bathroom (there were no labels on the doors, and I didn't think to look up, so I missed the sign hanging from the ceiling). Being an open-minded girl, I thought maybe they had some kind of unisex bathrooms in Canada, and continued to use that bathroom. Then one time as I was going out the door, I met a very surprised-looking guy coming in. He said "I thought this was the men's bathroom", and I replied "I think it's the bathroom." The next day I found the women's bathroom and felt really dumb.

I sure would. While I think women are cool, I wouldn't want near me when I'm emptying out my bladder or my bowels.

Reminds me of the scene from Real Genius when Jordan comes in while Mitch is trying to pee.

Jordan: Are you done peeing?
Mitch: Actually, I couldn't start.
Jordan: Because I'm here?
Mitch: Yeah
Jordan: Oh, weird.

By the way, they have even invented a product ( http://www.brycoli.it/It/prodotto.htm ) to allow women pee everywhere

Oh God... your not the only one that makes 'em. They even make plastic ones that can be washed and reused. (I am ashamed for having this knowledge)

I did it once at a concert I had to go to with our church youth group. Really awkward. The actual restroom was at the end of a long hallway; it seemed like one of those that connects an airplane to the airport terminal. After I saw a group of girls huddling around and checking their makeup, I exited quickly.

I've done this by mistake a couple of times, now I always double-check and catch myself before opening the door.
I used to go to the men's bathroom at bars or nightclubs because the ladies' room is always packed to capacity with a long line. It was quicker and easier, and I used to enjoy shocking people. :)

We can already pee everywhere, hehe. This just makes it easier and more discreet.

I did it by mistake when I was a kid. I wouldn't do it on purpose. How this is related to autism?

Only once, because it was convenient I couldn't find the women's room in the building and had to go right that moment.

Sometimes I accidentally walk into the wrong bathroom. It happens. If I notice a guy peeing in a urinal then I say "opps" and walk out. If I have to pee and there is a long line for the ladies room and no one in the mens room, I am using the men's room. Or if it is the only bathroom I can find... Sometimes when I have to go, I have to go. I figure explosive gass or other potential embarassments that might happen while waiting in line for the bathroom are bigger embarassments for everyone than my using the wrong bathroom.
