Aspies and playgrounds don't mix. I don't know how else to put it. I think the aide is a good idea, though she might want to watch at a distance. She will protect him from any vicious bullying. I would never leave an AS kid alone on a playground.
Why isn't he allowed to play alone?
Could he stay inside during recess, doing his own thing?
