What do you do during an emotional breakdown?
Lately I've been restraining myself from hurting myself or breaking thinks. One time I threw my ipod touch just because it was in my hand when the rage hit. The second I let go of it my breakdown went to another level because I knew my ipod would be dead. I usually go into my private area and throw myself on the floor and cry. Then I usually end up writing something. When I was a little kid I used to bite myself. On the finger. Sometimes I have dreams about punching myself in the face. I go on here a lot and write about what I'm having a breakdown about so I can look at it from a logical point of view instead of an entirely overwhelmed one. I'm really glad for this site.
I've come to the point where I've had so many breakdowns that I can describe exactly how I feel when I am having them. The situation is that I want to disappear so badly. I want to be in a new place and a new situation right now. But I'm always stuck in the same place. I have realized that I just wished I was a jumper. Like in that movie 'Jumper'. I would be so much more balanced if I had that ability.

When I was in HS, when I got angry, I'd kick the walls.
